Brest entrepreneur hunger-strikers’ efforts not wasted

According to Radio Liberty, on September 13 Aliaksandr Lukashenka issued a decree abolishing transport dues for entrepreneurs.
One of the participants of the hunger-strike, Liubou Razanovich, says the injustice was rectified due to the mass coverage of the strike by independent media.
Liubou Razanovich, together with her colleagues was on hunger-strike for several weeks in July and August 2006. The aim of the strike was to abolish the above-mentioned dues.
