23.03.2012 Minsk activists to stand trial for hoisting national flag in trade center
On 22 March Minsk police detained activists of the Revolution Through Social Network online community Nasta Shuleika, Mikhas Kostka and an identified photographer, on suspicion of staging an action in the city’s Stalitsa trade center a few hours earlier, when a national white-red-white flag was flown tied to several balloons.
23.03.2012 Young opposition activist jailed after being caught pasting up leaflet on Freedom Day demonstration
Young opposition activist Mikita Kavalenka, a member of European Belarus, was sentenced Thursday to six days in jail after being caught pasting up a leaflet on a sanctioned opposition demonstration to be held in Minsk on March 25.

Vitsebsk Kastrychnitski District Court has turned down a joint complaint by local pro-democratic activists Khrystafor Zhaliapau, Aliaksei Haurutsikau and Yan Dziarzhautsau against an earlier decision by the city’s executive committee to ban a manifestation and a meeting to celebrate the anniversary of the proclamation of the Belarusian People’s Republic on 25 March.

21.03.2012 BHC leaders appeal foreign travel ban
