13.01.2014 Standard restrictions on signature pickets imposed all over Vitsebsk region
By its regulation No. 6 for January 9 the Orsha District Executive Committee identified places where it was prohibited to collect signatures for nomination of candidates. Moreover, there is a special annex to the regulation, which is hard to find at the website of the executive committee, whereas the regulation itself does not mention any place of urban infrastructure.

The regulation of the executive committee is quite similar to a similar regulation adopted during the parliamentary elections of 2012. The list of the placed banned for holding pickets for collecting signatures for nomination of candidates for the local councils hasn't been extended.

Babruisk City Executive Committee has published a list of places prohibited for picketing for the purpose of collecting signatures for nomination of candidates for the local elections. The list of places remains unchanged when compared to the last election, and hence creates the same uncomfortable conditions for collecting signatures: pickets are prohibited in almost all places of Babruisk which are popular with the public.

On 4 January 60 constituency election commissions for elections to the regional council were formed at a sitting of Hrodna Regional Executive Committee, chaired by its chairman Uladzimir Krautsou. 11 people were included in each commission. The procedure of forming the commissions took just 15 minutes. Of course, nobody discussed the candidacies of all 660 nominees to the commissions.
