Oppositionists not included in constituency election commissions of Mahiliou

Of all opposition parties, representatives were nominated to the constituency election commissions only by the United Civil Party.

As said by the head of the Mahiliou regional UCP branch, Uladzimir Shantsau, six people were nominated. The authorities didn't explain the reasons why they decided not to choose the UCP nominees for work in the commissions.

Mr. Shantsau states the party members aren't going to appeal the non-inclusion in the election commissions as there is no hope for winning the case.
