Member of BPF Party not included in election commission

Biaroza District Court dismissed the complaint of a group of citizens against the failure to include a BPF member Ihar Menshykau in the district election commission.

The trial was attended by a representative executive committee, lawyer Yauhen Kashtalian (who was included in the election commission) and Biaroza district prosecutor, Danila Dziarabin.

According to Mr. Kashtalian, no laws were violated during the creation of the commission: it includes representatives of parties, NGOs, labor collectives and nominees of citizens in the due proportions.

However, neither the judge nor to prosecutor paid any attentionto the fact that as a result of these "right" proportions in the commission there are no representatives of opposition in it.
