This was reported by some residents of Brest, working in organizations that are part of "Belnaftakhim" (“Belarusian Oil Chemistry”) concern. One could receive a ticket-invitation to the concert dated to the City Day in exchange for a signature in support for the nomination of the candidacy of the incumbent President for the presidnetial election.

The UN Committee on Human Rights (CHR) has taken a few dozen decisions that recognized Belarus a violator of the rights of citizens. In its decisions the HRC, inter alia, requested the Republic of Belarus to publish them and ensure their wide dissemination in the country in Belarusian and Russian languages.
