Mahiliou journalist Uladzimir Laptsevich has received a reply from the Mahiliou regional Council to his request. The BelaPAN journalist asked the authorities to indicate the concrete legal act, accoridng to which he was obliged to apply for being admitted to open sittings of sessions of the Mahiliou Regional Council.

Civil society activist from Khotsimsk Valery Karankevich claims that the authorities of Mahiliou region are already forming the commissions on elections of the President of the Republic of Belarus, although the election date has not yet been appointed by the Parliament.

Last year Uladzimir Shcharbatyh, an activist of the campaign "Tell the Truth," was reported by officials that the reconstruction of the only children's hospital in Babruisk would begin in the first quarter of this year. However, no repairs have started yet.

The Supreme Court has found no evidence of neglect of the Belarusian language by judges of Minsk’s district courts, says a response received by volunteer of the HRC "Viasna" Uladzimir Andryenka, who earlier sent a statement about a violation of his right to use his native language in court.
