As said by the Young Front leader Zmitser Dashkevich, Aleh Valatouski was detained in Minsk in the night and is kept at the police station. Dashkevich does not rule out that the activist could be detained for distributing information about the national symbols of Belarus.

On 4 August, the court of Baranavichy started the consideration of the lawsuit of the local communal services against the three youngsters accused of making graffiti ‘No to NPS’ on the building of Baranavichy district executive committee. The plaintiffs demanded from the defendants 3 350 000 rubles (about $ 1190) in damages.

The Belarusian women, whose relatives were tried with violations of the law, still complain of receiving just run-arounds instead of substantial answers. The Supreme Court acts even more boldly: the leader of the women's initiative Halina Yubko has received a packet with the complaints and the collective address that had been submitted to this state organ. The court didn't even answer to the convicts' relatives.

The trial will take place on 11 August at Savetski district court of Minsk.
