KGB pressurizes another ‘Young Front’ activist
Officers of the State Security Committee (KGB) visited mother of youth activist Valiantsina Liasnova.
‘My mother received a telephone call from her work, she was told that police wanted to talk to her,’ Young Front activist Valiantsina Liasnova says. ‘As it turned out, this was KGB officers’.
According to the youth activist, the KGB officers threatened the women with problems at work, mfront.net reports.
It should be noted that youth activists have repeatedly reported about persecution by the Belarusian secret services. In June 2009, a KGB officer offered youth activist Yauhen Vishnevich to cooperate with the secret services. In March this year, KGB officers pressurized Young Front activist Stas Senin through head master of Gymnasium #3 of Minsk.
