As it is stated in the answer from Lidziya Yarmoshyna, Chairperson of the Central Election Commission, to human rights defender Barys Bukhel, CEC offered the Mahiliou city executive committee to introduce supplements to its decision on determining the places for holding mass events connected with electoral agitation.

The state-owned newspaper Hrodzenskaya Prauda serves as almost the only source of official information about the elections in Hrodna. However, it tends to conceal some important information from the electorate. The electoral speech of the member of the unregistered party Belarusian Christian Democracy Heorhi Stankevich, a candidate for the Beshankovichy district Council of Deputies, was recorded, but wasn't broadcast but the local radio. He was explained that putting the speech on the air was banned by the district election commission, because as a result the candidate could 'defame other candidates for the district council of deputies' and 'the content of the speech isn't related to issues of the candidate's program'.

The Homel regional court refused to consider the complaint lodged by Uladzimir Tseliapun, a member of the Belarusian Popular Front Party, against the non-registration of his candidacy, referring to Article 246, part 1 of the Civil Process Code.

As noted by democratic candidates Franak Viachorka and Uladzimir Tseliapun, leaflets of candidate Hramovich is distributed at constituency #18 on elections to the Mazyr district Council of Deputies without having any imprint on them, which is a violation of the electoral legislation. The leaflets are posted not only on the informational stands, but also on windows. Of course, Hramovich is the only candidate registered at this constituency, that's why he doesn't need to care about such 'trifles' as imprint.

Private publishing enterprises of Homel refuse to publish leaflets of independent candidate. As said by Sviataslau Shapavalau, a coordinator of the organizing committee of the Belarusian Christian Democracy, candidate for the Homel regional Council of Deputies, at one of private enterprises he was told that there was a secret order to them not even to talk with the candidates who wanted to publish such production.

As we have already informed, Viktar Tsiapin, a Baranavichy member of the Belarusian Party of Leftists Fair World, wasn’t registered as a candidate for the city council because he had allegedly wrote the dates opposite the electors’ signatures, whereas it should have been done by them. Tsiapin’s complaint against the non-registration wasn’t granted by the Brest regional election commission.
