Political prisoner Eduard Babaryka was charged under Part 2 of Article 411 of the Criminal Code (malicious disobedience to the requirements of the administration of a correctional institution).
According to Viasna, Eduard was sentenced to two years of imprisonment. According to Belsat sources, he was sentenced to imprisonment for one year and six months.
The case was handled by judge Pavel Kartsinen.
Recall that Eduard was sentenced to 8 years of imprisonment in July 2023. At the same time, the time spent in the KGB pre-trial detention center on the initial charge was not counted. He was found guilty under three articles of the Criminal Code. The political prisoner is serving his term in Babrujsk colony No. 2. There he was constantly pressured by the administration of the colony, and since April 1 he has been in a punishment cell (PKT).
