06.09.2012 Vitsebsk: Barys Khamaida is pushed away from Lenin Street 28
Opposition activist Barys Khamaida has been distributing independent press and held pickets on Lenin Street 28 for more than 20 years already. He has been many times arrested, imprisoned and fined for it, but always returns to his usual place. On 6 July the police literary pressed him to the wall with his table and then charged him with “disorderly conduct”.
06.09.2012 “Mahiliouskiya Vedamastsi” edit electoral program without candidate's consent
The deputy editor of the stat-owned newspaper “Mahiliouskiya Vedamastsi” Henadz Liakhau crossed out the phrase “one decides for all” out of the electoral program of Liliya Sivakova, a candidate of the “Fair World” Party at Mahiliou-Kastrychnitskaya election constituency #86. The program was published in the newspaper issue #91 of 6 September 2012.
06.09.2012 Salihorsk police interfere with electoral meeting of Viktar Malochka
An electoral meeting with Viktar Malochka, a candidate for the Parliament running at election constituency #68, took place in the Builder's Club in the evening of 5 September. The leader of the United Civil Party Anatol Liabedzka also attended the event as an electioneering agent for Malochka.
06.09.2012 Vitsebsk: TV debates with participation of Aliaksei Yanukevich not broadcast on air
A 30-minute program dedicated the memory of those who perished during World War II was broadcast instead of the TV debates with participation of the head of the Belarusian Popular Front Party Aliaksei Yanukevich.
06.09.2012 Uladzimir Tryzunou's father and brother interrogated by unknown persons
On 3 September two people in mufti came to the house of the Mahiliou activist Uladzimir Tryzunou who was absent at the time. They didn't introduce themselves, but started interrogating members of his family.
06.09.2012 Supreme Court upholds non-registration of Mikhail Vasiliieu
On 5 September the Supreme Court of the Republic of Belarus considered the appeal of the head of the Barysau city organization of the United Civil Party Mikhail Vasiliieu against his non-registration as a candidate for the Parliament by the election commission of Barysau village constituency #63.

The conditions for the agitation campaign remain unequal for pro-regime and all other candidates for the Parliament.
06.09.2012 “European Belarus” activist sentenced to 5 days of arrest for handing out “Charter'97” newspaper
Aliaksei Tseply, an activist of the “European Belarus”, was detained by the riot police near the “Kupalauskaya” metro station on 5 September. Several copies of the “Charter'97” newspaper were found in his bag.

At about 1.30 ap.m.on 5 September the apartment of Yahor Viniatski, and activist of the youth wing of the civil campaign “Tell the Truth”, “Zmena”, was raided by police.

05.09.2012 Shklou: pro-governmental candidate uses office powers for agitation
On 5 September the parliamentary candidates running at Shklou election constituency #90 Ryhor Kastusiou (from the Belarusian Popular Front Party) and Zinaida Mileshchanka (“Fair World” Party) appealed unlawful actions of their rival, deputy head of the State Control Committee of Belarus Aliaksandr Aheyeu, to the constituency election commission,
05.09.2012 Asipovichy: constituency election commission threatens to deprive opposition candidate of registration
Constituency election commission #89 in Asipovichy blankly demanded that Albert Yaumenau, a candidate from the Belarusian Popular Front Party, presented a note from his job confirming that he was on a vacation leave in connection with the election. The commission threatens to deprive him of the registration as a candidate in the case he doesn't fulfill this requirement.
05.09.2012 Baranavichy: parliamentary candidate Charnavus is required to refrain from criticizing local authorities
Mikalai Charnavus, a candidate for the Parliament running at Baranavichy-Western election constituency #5, presented his electoral program for publication at the state-owned newspaer “Nasha Krai”.
05.09.2012 Brest procuracy warns Andrei Sharenda
The Brest procuracy issued the civil activist Andrei Sharenda with a warning taking into account some “circumstances witnessing a violation of the Law “On mass events” (during his participation in the peaceful post-election protests on 19 December 2010 in Minsk).
05.09.2012 Supreme Court turns down two more appeals against non-registration of opposition candidates
Vitsebsk activist of the civil campaign “Tell The Truth” Siarhei Parsiukevich was going to run at Vitsebsk-Kastrychnitskaya constituency #20. However, the constituency election commission didn't register his candidacy, stating that a part of the signatures in his support were invalid. The Central Election Commission and the Supreme Court upheld this decision.
