KGB and police are searching the apartment of Barys Haretski, press secretary of the unregistered organization Young Front. They said to him that the search is connected to a criminal case against another Young Front activist, Nasta Azarka.

At 8 p.m. on 23 July the police detained Pavel Seviarynets in Frunzenski district of Minsk. Pavel managed to say to RFE/RL that the police suspect him of a felony were taking him to Frunzenski district police department of Minsk.
24.07.2007 Minsk: Authorities Prohibit Rock Concert in Honor of State Sovereignty Declaration
The organizers intended to hold the concert in a traditional place, the Druzhby Narodau Park near Banhalor Square. They filed an application to Minsk City Executive Committee and started negotiations with rock band. Preliminary agreements were received from Krama and Neuro Dubel.

The Ministry of Justice refused to register the national human rights public association For Freedom! movement. On 21 July the co-founders of the NGO received an official answer from the ministry.
24.07.2007 Youth Detained on Teturn from Basovishcha Rock Festival
About 30 youngsters were detained for more than an hour at the railway station of Hrodna Maksim Hubarevich, Aliaksei Salei, Yauhen Skrabutan, Viktar Valko, and Franak Viachorka,. All of them returned from the rock-festival Basovishcha which took place in Poland. Five of the detainees, including Skrabutan and Viachorka, were searched.
