Executive secretary of the organizing committee of the party "Belarusian Christian Democracy Dzianis Sadouski said told the press service of the BCD on the situation of a political prisoner, member of the BCD Yauhen Vaskovich, who is under strongly pressurized by the administratioon of prison No. 4 in Mahiliou.

13.01.2014 Anatol Liabedzka: detained, punched in kidneys and taken to Kurapaty
The leader of the United Civil Party spent seven hours at a police station. He was detained in the morning on January 12 and set free only at 6 p.m. He was taken outside Minsk. Policemen took the politician to Kurapaty memorial area and then to the city crematory. Only after that he was set free in the city district Viasnianka, close to his home.
10.01.2014 Haradok: political activist Leanid Autukhou detained due to anonimous denunciation
In the Haradok District Police Department Mr. Autukhovich was showed a letter signed by the word "Anonymous". The letter stated that he was preparing a protest action in the city. As a result the BPF activist was held at the DPD for three years, until the departure from Haradok of hte regional authorities who came there to meet with disgruntled local businessmen.

Main Department of Justice of the Brest Regional Executive Committee refused to register the educational association "Brest Christian Democrats". According to the reply, received by Chairman of the organizing committee of the NGO Dzmitry Shurkhai , the lawyers of the executive committee are of the opinion that the organization name does not meet the definition of a public association.

22.12.2013 Mother of BCD activist writes to Baranavichy Prosecutor’s Office
Iryna Karnitskaya, mother of Artsiom Babei, activist of the Belarusian Christian Democracy, filed a complaint with Baranavichy Interdistrict Prosecutor’s Office about the 18 December raid on their apartment. She says that two plainclothes policemen showed a search warrant signed by the Investigative Committee, but refused to leave a copy of this document.
