On 31 May Minsk police detained the activists of Young Belarus Pavel Nestsiarovich and Illia Shcharbinski.
Nestsiarovich was posting stickers with the organization’s logo and invitation to join. The leader of Young Belarus Artur Finkevich informed RFE/RL that the police beat the detainee at the police station.
Later another activist of Young Belarus, Ivan Shcharbinski, was detained near the police station as well. Both of the detainees were hit in the kidneys.
