An instruction issued to the chairman of Rechytsa District Council of Deputies failed to clarify the issue of the formation of local budget, says local activist of the Tell the Truth civil campaign Aleh Shabetnik.

“In the past three months we have submitted five appeals to the chairman of Rechytsa District Council of Deputies Mikhail Bayaryn, asking for permission to study the draft budget for 2013. One of the latest appeals was sent through the Prosecutor’s Office, so that it could order to correct violations of legislation on public appeals. However, it never worked. And the Council member is still silent,” says the activist.

The activist says Mikhail Bayaryn suggested seeking information o the budget at the website of the National Legal Portal, but the activists could not find it there.

“Considering this, we sent another appeal, this time via the Regional Council of Deputies,” says Mr. Shabetnik.
