At about 8 p.m. on 9 December the police came to Illia Dabratvor's home, saying they needed to draw up a report of questioning. Only Illia's wife and minor children were at home, that's why the police tried to find where the activist was and why he was absent.

Raman Pratasevich was detained during the trial of another “YF” activist, Dzmitry Dashkevich on 6 November. He was subsequently taken to the center for the isolation of offenders in Akrestsin Street in Minsk and kept there for two days, as far as the courts didn't work on 7 November, a state holiday.

On 6 November the police arrested nine people who came to the center for the isolation of offenders in Akrestsin Street to meet the Homel resident Yury Rubtsou, detained after the end of the “Dziady” rally in Minsk and sentenced to 3 days of arrest for the alleged “insubordination to the police”.
