Aliaksandr Rybachenka, an activist of the European Belarus opposition movement, was detained on Saturday in Jeĺsk, Homieĺ region. Police officers detained him when he was taking photos of posters calling for election boycott.
His whereabouts were unknown after the detention. However, three hours later the activist was released from the police department without charges.
