The Biaroza district executive committee has for the first time in 18 years allowed a picket that is expected to mark the anniversary of the adoption of the Declaration of Sovereignty on July 27.
However, in doing so, the officials moved the venue from the entrance to the Central Stadium to a stadium on the outskirts of the town.
The organizers are yet to sign contracts with government services who are expected to maintain public order and provide clean-up of the territory after the event.
The police departments has already signed a contract, charging over 4.5 mln rubles for the protection of public order during the picket. A dozen protesters will be guarded by 10 policemen.
