As reported to the Human Rights Center “Viasna” by a member of the staff of “Backaŭščyna” Nina Shydlouskaya, in the morning on July 7 the police detained Miraslau Lazouski.
The book distributor was detained at about 10 a.m. He was dressed in a T-shirt with the emblem of the Ukrainian guerilla battalion “Azov” and had books “Time to Collect Bones” by Viktar Kazko with him. The detainee was taken to the building in Niezaliežnaść Avenue, 6, where he was held until 3 p.m.
Miraslau Lazouski was charged under Article 17.1 of the Code of Administrative Offenses, “disorderly conduct”, and was fined 360,000 Belarusian rubles.
