Vital Kalinouski, member of the Belarusian Social Democratic Party (Hramada), has staged an action to express his support to political prisoner Yury Rubtsou, who is standing trial in the court of the Pružany district.
After the detention, the activist was searched and police officers found six leaflets with pictures of political prisoners. Vital Kalinouski was then held for more than two hours at the police department in Mikaševičy, and eventually charged with an offense under Art. 21.14, Part. 2 of the Administrative Code. He was also accused of posting posters without permission.
