Biaroza human rights activists have filed an application for a picket on June 28 at the officially designated site, the city stadium, near the entrance from Lenin Street.
The aim of the picket is to demand the release of political prisoners: Mikalai Statkevich, Ihar Alinevich, Mikalai Dziadok, Yauhen Vaskovich, Artsiom Prakapenka and Yury Rubtsou; and to protest against Yuri Rubtsov; protest against the violation of constitutional rights of citizens by adoption of the Decree №3 "On the prevention of social dependency".
For 18 years already, Biaroza authorities have been banning all mass events on trumped-up reasons, and the courts have turned down all appeals against the bans, siding with the local officials.
