Journalist Viktar Parfionenka to continue litigation with MFA

The Leninski District Court of Minsk refused to consider the lawsuit of the Hrodna journalist Viktar Parfionenka against the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The journalist continues seeking justice, trying to get accredited at the MFA. However, after receiving seven denials, he decided to continue hi struggle in courts.
“Now I will prepare a review appeal to the Chair of the Minsk City Court together with the lawyers of the Belarusian Association of Journalists. Following recommendations, including that of the BAJ journalists, I intend to pass all instances, from the lower courts to the supreme,” stated Mr. Parfionenka.
If he fails to get the justice at Belarusian courts, he intends to appeal to the United Nations Human Rights Committee.
