As reported by a coordinator of the organizing committee of the Belarusian Christian Democracy Valeryia Charamortsava, in the morning of January 7, the police refused to let Orthodox believers in the St. Spirit Cathedral.
The policemen explained their actions by searching for a bomb. Later, they first let in the priest, and then the believers. Valeryia Charnamortsava wasn't let in the temple as she was waring a white-red-white scarf. She wasn't let in even after she put the scarf under her coat.
