Kanstantsin Dzmitryieu is another fined participant of the memorial event in Svislach
An activist of the United Civil Party Kanstantsin Dzmitryieu is the tenth person who has been fined for participation in the Day of Commemoration of the participants of the Kalinouski uprising in 1863-1864 in Svislach.
Svislach District Court insisted on his presence at the trial, as a result of which Mr. Dzmitryieu had to come to the hearing from Minsk, where he is currently working. As a result, he was fined 1.5 million Belarusian rubles.
Nine other participants of the memorial event have been fined before him: Yury Hlebik from Svislach, Mikhal Karnevich, Uladzimir Khilmanovich, Yezhy Hryhencha, Vital Lopasau, Viktar Babkin and Uladzimir Prudnikau from Hrodna, Vital Huliak from Vaukavysk and Ales Mekh from Kobryn.
December 16, the head of the Hrodna UCP organization Aliaksandra Vasilevich will be tried by Chair of the Svislach District Court Aliaksandr Shylin. A similar violation report, drawn up on the scientist and civil society activist Ales Astrouski has been returned for revising. The police wrote that he had violated the law in Svislach and Yakushouka, whereas Mr. Astrouski hadn't visited the latter place at all.
