Baranavichy activists congratulate political prisoners on Christmas and New Year
Baranavichy civil society activists have sent colored postcards with Christmas and New Year congratulations to the political prisoners Ihar Alinevich, Mikalai Dziadok, Eduard Lobau, Artsiom Prakapenka, Mikalai Statkevich and Yauhen Vaskovich.
In these postcards they wish the prisoners of conscience a strong health, optimism, faith in a better future and release from jail in the upcoming year. The signers of the postcards regard their letters and postcards as a small sign of moral support which they can show in the present conditions.
“In our postcards and letters we write that we strongly wish to see them at liberty and always remember about them. We hope that the prisoners will feel the warmth of congratulations sent by their Baranavichy friends,” stated an activist of the Movement “For Freedom” Viktar Syrytsa.
