December 10, representatives of human rights organizations will call the names of the best human rights activist, lawyer and journalists dealing with human rights issues.
The award for achievements in the sphere of human rights was founded in 2008. This year's award ceremony will be already the sixth.
In the previous years, awards were given to such journalists as Siamion Pechanko, Aleh Hruzdzilovich, Uladzimir Hrydzin, Yuliya Darashkevich, Andrei Pachobut, as well as the program «I Have a Right» of the TV channel «BelSat».
This year's winners will be announced at 1 p.m. on the Human Rights Day, December 10, at the book-store «Lohvinau» (Nezalezhnasts Ave., 37A). The entrance to the event is free.
