Iryna Motsnaya, a mother who was denied the right to continue raising her adoptive children, was detained while coming out of the Klimavichy District Court, due to alleged earlier insubordination to the police.

Later in the evening, this was reported to a coordinator of the organizing committee of the Belarusian Christian Democracy Taisiya Kabanchuk by Iryna's son.

“Our mother was detained at the entrance of the court and taken to the Klimavichy District Police Department. In 90 minutes he went out together with a policeman and told that an administrative case had been brought against her and she would be detained until trial. She doesn't know when it will be held. She felt bad in the court corridor (she has diabetes, high blood pressure and an ill heart). An ambulance was called for her, some injections were given and then she was taken to the DPD,” quotes Mrs. Kabanchuk.

A BCD coordinator Aleh Aksionau is going to Klimavichy to clear out the situation.
