Plan of for reconstruction of historical buildings not implemented in Mahiliou

It follows from a reply of the deputy head of the Mahiliou City Executive Committee Andrei Kuntsevich. The official blames the developers for having not presented to the executive committee their proposals on the reconstruction of the five houses, appointed for reconstruction in 2014: houses No. 15 and 17 in Pershamaiskaya Street, house No. 10 in Pazharny Alley, house No. 17 in Kamisaryiatski Alley and house No. 33 in Piyanerskaya Street. All these houses are on the list of historical and cultural values that are to be protected by the state.

Meanwhile, Mr. Kuntsevich points 20,850,000 rubles has been spent on the reconstruction of the facades of houses No. 15 and 17 in Pershamaiskaya Street this year. By the year, the authorities intend to finish the capital repairs of the house No. 33 in Piyanerskaya Street.

It's worth mentioning that the problem of the failure to timely repair the aforementioned houses was raised by activists of the independent newspaper “NASH Mahiliou”. Within the campaign “Let's Save Old Mahiliou” they filed an appeal to the authorities signed by more than 20 residents.
