Salihorsk: «Young Front» activist summoned to police

In the evening on September 10, an activist of the local branch of the «Young Front» Andrei Tychyna has received a telephone call from police officer Yauhen Zhylin, who «invited» him to the Salihorsk district police department for a talk.

It's worth mentioning that for a long time Yauhen Zhylin was directly responsible for the persecution of the opposition in Salihorsk, participated in detentions of activists and participants of peaceful protests, gave orders to police to give false testimonies and fabricate charges.

The reason for the interest of the police to Andrei Tychyna can be an action conducted by the art group “Partyzan” (“Guerrilla”), who painted the sign at the entrance of Salihorsk in the colors of the national white-red-white flag.
