September 8 Viktar Statkevich, father of the political prisoner Mikalai Statkevich, received an anonymous letter with threats to his son Mikalai and the son's wife, Maryna Statkevich.
“I found the anonymous letter in my mailbox. The main content is threats to my son Mikalai and his wife Maryna Adamovich. Somebody threats to kill him on release from prison,” stated Statkevich Sr.
88-year-old Statkevich-Sr., who lives alone in Baranavichy, intends to appeal to police concerning this incident.
