As reported by afn.by, September 1 President Aliaksandr Lukashenka signed the decree №426 giving the Supreme Court the authority to put in the MIA database data about citizens in respect of which the courts have taken the decision to temporarily restrict their right to leave Belarus.
Before this, the powers to restrict foreign travels to Belarusian citizens belonged to the Ministry of Justice.
