Opposition activist Dzmitry Kremianetski sentenced to 10 days in jail
Judge Artsiom Biaskishski of the court of Minsk’s Savetski District Court heard today the administrative case against activist of the Young Front opposition movement Dzmitry Kremianetski. He was charged with disorderly conduct (Art. 17.1 of the Code of Administrative Offenses).
As a result, the activist was sentenced to 10 days in jail.
Dzmitry Kremianetski was detained at his apartment this morning. His girlfriend told about the arrest to human rights defender Anastasiya Loika.
Another opposition activist, Pavel Vinahradau, was detained yesterday. He was eventually sentenced to 10 days of arrest.
The police were also trying to break into the apartment of another Young Front activist Raman Vasilyeu. This was reported in Facebook by activist Mikalai Dzemidzenka.
