Baranavichy human rights defenders congratulate Mikalai Statkevich on his birthday

Baranavichy human rights defenders and social activists have sent the political prisoner Mikalai Statkevich a congratulatory telegram on his birthday. They wished the ex-presidential candidate, who is now serving a term in prison No. 4 in Mahilioupatience, fortitude, faith, and hope, and a quick release from jail.

“Every year on August 12 we try to send a color postcard or a telegram to Mikalai Statkevich and congratulate him on his birthday. Of course, it is better to celebrate it at home, together with the family and friends. We believe that such a day will eventually come and the political prisoner Statkevich, despite all the difficulties and numerous trials, will be released early,” said Viktar Syrytsaa.
