Belarusian border guards denied entry to Belarus to two Norwegian politicians. Reportedly, Emil André Erstad and Line Nordhaug were travelling from Lithuania to Belarus to watch a hockey match on 10 May in Minsk.
Border guards stopped two Norwegians at the border and put them on a train going back to Vilnius. The guards said that politicians are on the ban list to enter Belarus.
On 7 May, the head of the Swedish human rights organization "Östgruppen” Martin Uggla was detained upon arrival at the Minsk airport. He was also informed that his name is on the list of people who are banned from entering Belarus. Uggla was deported from Belarus on the next day.
