Another former candidate fired

Former candidate in this year’s local elections Vital Kalinouski has been forced to resign from the Mikashevichy-based Narbud + private enterprise, where he had as a mechanic.

According to Vital, even before the elections his boss was visited by chairman of the executive committee, Anatol Davydovich, who said that his employee was registered as a candidate. The manager reacted immediately. He came to his employee and told to resign, but Vital Kalinouski refused. Then the employer said,” I do not want to lose my business because of you. Because Davydovich said he would send checks if I did not sack you.”

As a result of the pressure by the administration, on March 24 Vital Kalinouski wrote a letter of resignation, but he was offered to work for another month, until they found a replacement.
