On March 22, at polling station No. 19 in Brest observers found an opened ballot box. According to the electoral law, voting results should be found invalid due to such violations, but none of the officials came to the polling station to fix the violation, BelaPAN said.

"We have documented that a ballot box at a polling station of Brest constituency No. 3 was opened and re-sealed,” said Dzianis Turchaniak, a trustee of the candidate Valiantsina Maltsava. “On March 18, the box was sealed in the presence of two observers who photographed the seal. When this morning, I came to compare the image, I noticed that it was different from the original one. Further examination of the boxes revealed another interesting fact – the cord that was used to seal the box ran through only one hole on the cover of the box. Whereas on March 18 it ran through both holes - on the lid and the walls of the box. It is quite obvious that with such a sealing the box can be opened any number of times without damaging the seal."

Police were called to register the violation, but no one came to the polling station from 12.30 to 18.30.

Valiantsina Maltsava has written a statement to the prosecutor.
