Many polling stations in Mahiliou lack boards for campaign materials
It is reported by a candidate for the Mahiliou City and Regional Councils of deputies, Aliaksei Paulouski.
"At polling stations Nos. 74 and 75, which are located in high school No. 26, there are no stands, which should be outside the polling station and which should have campaign materials of candidates. Head of secondary school No. 26 Makarchykau, who is also chairperson of one of the election commission, said that he would install the stands only on the main day of voting, March 23," said Aliaksei Paulouski.
The pro-democratic candidate says that such a statement is an obstacle to legitimate campaigning opportunities, especially as all campaigning is prohibited on election day.
On this occasion, Aliaksei Paulouski is going to write a complaint to the City and Regional Election Commissions, as well as to the Prosecutor's Office.
