Biaroza activists intend to hold a picket on Freedom Day

One of the picket organizers, human rights defender Siarzhuk Rusetski says that picket will be dedicated not only to the 96th anniversary of the proclamation of the Belarusian People's Republic, but also to other topical issues which need to be discussed publicly.

Mr. Rusetski states that the picket participants intend to express protest against the invasion of the Russian troops on the territory of the sovereign state of Ukraine and the deployment of Russian military bases on the territory of our country. Mr. Rusetski adds that the problem of political prisoners remains unsolved and will be also addressed at the mass event.

Biaroza human rights defenders have already applied to the appropriate state agencies to enter into the contracts for paid serving of the rally.
