Miory police detain Belsat journalists and BCD activists

Two correspondents of the Belsat TV channel were detained in Miory, Vitsebsk region, on February 20, according to the press service of the organizing committee of the party "Belarusian Christian Democracy" (BCD). The journalists’ names are not called.
Together with journalists, the police detained two BCD activists, who accompanied them, Siarhei Vasiliyeu and Dzianis Maskalenka.
One of the journalists was released at about 6 p.m. the same evening, the other was promised to be released later. BCD activist Dzmitry Lupach, who came in search of the detainees at the police station, was advised to leave until they detained him.
