Belarusian Leftist Party “Fair World” and the United Civil Party nominated 19 and 10 members to the precinct election commissions of the Mahiliou region respectively.
A total of 785 election commissions were established, comprising 8,521 people. 3,448 people were nominated to the commissions by collection of signatures, 3,321 – as representatives of public associations, 1,752 – as representatives of labor collectives.
What concerns public asociations – 1,045 people were nominated to the PECs bny the Federation of Trade Unions, 503 – by “Belaya Rus”, 420 – by the Belarusian Republican Youth Union, 354 – by the Veteran's Union and 14 – by the Communist Party of Belarus.
