Only nine partisans got incluled in the PECs created in Brest region
9,608 people were included in the 954 precinct election commissions created in the Brest region. The commissions are dominated by people who were nominated “by citizens” – 4,094 representatives (or 42.6 %).
Also, significant number of seats in the election commissions is held by representatives of public associations – 3,862 persons (40.3%). Noteworthy is the fact that 1,433 of them were nominated by the Federation of Trade Unions of Belarus and 590 – by the pro-regime public association "Belaya Rus". What concerns labor collectives, there are 1,594 their nominees in the PECs (16.6%).
The representation of political parties is quite modes (52 people). 34 of them are nominees of the Communist Party of Belarus , 9 – Republican Party of Labor and Justice. The oppositional parties hold only nine seats: 6 people were nominated by the Belarusian Popular Front, and 3 – by “Fair World”.
