Zhodzina City Election Committee registered just six electoral teams
The observers note the extreme passiveness at the stage of registration of initiative groups for nomination of candidates for Zhodzina City Council of 27 convocation.
The registration of applications of nominees will be held until January 16. However, just six initiative groups were registered at the second sitting of Zhodzina City Election Commission, though there are 36 election constituencies formed in 23 polling stations.
Observer Aliaksei Lapitski was invited to the second sitting of the commission by its secretary, head of the personnel department of Zhodzina City Executive Committee Tatsiana Krautsevich.
The sitting was attended by 11 members of the commission (another one joined the commission during the consideration of the second point on the commission's agenda).
Participants of the sitting unanimously adopted and approved:
1) Registration of six electoral teams to collect signatures for nominating candidates for Zhodzina City Council:
- electoral team No. 1 of Alena Akhramovich (school No. 2, 9 persons) at Tsentralnaya zavadskaya constituency No. 10;
- electoral team No. 2 of Siarhei Semiantsou (thermogalvanic shop of "BelAZ", 4 pers.) at Tsentralnaya constituency No. 11;

- electoral team No. 4 of Mikhail Baranouski (Institute of Cattle Breeding, 6 pers.) at Frunzenskaya constituency No. 5;
- electoral team No. 5 of Yury Maretski (military commissar of the Military Commissariat of the Smaliavichy district and Zhodzina, 7 pers.) at Novaya constituency No. 20;
- electoral team No. 6 of Anzhalika Shershan (Children and Youth Sports School of rowing and canoeing, 6 pers.) at Kupryianauskaya constituency No. 1.
2 ) coordination of the proposals of Zhodzina City Executive Committee for the establishment of polling stations on elections for Zhodzina City Council –23 polling stations were established;
3) proposals for approval of the schedule of duties in the commission's office (after receipt of proposals from 2 participants it was decided that the schedule would be composed by Tatsiana Krautsevich).
At the end of the session the management of the commission didn't let Mr. Lapitski to familiarize with the documents which were received and discussed during the sitting, including the presentation of the executive committee considering the polling stations.
Commission Chairman Siarhei Afanasenkau assured those present that observers could read only the documents that had been published in the official press.
As a result, Mr. Lapitski managed to read the documents after the end of the sitting, having received them from Tatsiana Krautsevich.
