Mahiliou democrats bid for a rally against new taxes

The initiators of the rally are Chairman of the Mahiliou regional branch of BPF "Adradzhenne" Dzmitry Salauyou, Chairman of the Mahiliou regional branch of the United Civil Party Uladzimir Shantsau and Deputy Chairman of the Free Trade Union of Belarus Yury Novikau.

By means of the rally tjhe leaders of Mahiliou democratic forces intend to draw attention to the inexpediency of introducing new state taxes.

"We see the absurdity of the situation when the country is bankrupt, but the authorities decide to "milk" the citizens by introducing a new tax on car owners. There's no need for such a tax – it is necessary to dismiss the government for the failures in the economy," says Dzmitry Salauyou.

If the local authorities allow the mass event, it will be held on January 25 in a particular place for such events, on the ground near the stadium "Khimik", located on the outskirts of the city.
