Bialynichy entrepreneurs ordered to pay for New Year decorations

Bialynichy entrepreneurs and private enterprises must buy the necessary materials for decorating the town for the New Year holidays. This week , the appropriate “recommendation” has been sent to private companies and individual entrepreneurs by the Bialy Town Executive Committee.

The document, signed by the deputy chairman of the executive committee on economic development, lists seventeen economic subjects (the bulk of which is located in the town center, in Savetskaya, Lenin and Kalinin Streets) and prescribes each of them to buy a certain number of meters of duralight, transparent cord with diodes or incandescent lamps inside, produced from flexible polymers and used as luminous garlands.

One of the enterpreneurs said she was “advised” to buy 30 meters of duralight. The entrepreneurs express their dissent with the “recommendation”, but still have to implement it, as otherwise the authorities may create problems for their business.
