In Hrodna an action of solidarity with political prisoners was organized by human rights defenders from "Viasna" and "Salidarnasts". During four hours they handed out several hundreds of postcards, asking the people to sign and pass them to political prisoners.

The people who came to sign the postcards could also hear a life performance of a well-known Hrodna signer Ales Dzianisau. The human rights defenders intend to hold such actions of support regularly.

On 10 July Klimavichy activists of the civic campaign "Tell the Truth" sent letters of support to Mikalai Statkevich, Eduard Lobau and Yauhen Vaskovich. In their letters the activists expressed support to the Belarusian political prisoners and the hope for their quick release, and wished them endurance in the prison conditions.

"Earlier we also sent letters of support to the political prisoners Ales Bialiatski, Zmitser Dashkevich and Pavel Seviarynets", said the Klimavichy activist of "Tell the Truth!" Aliaksandr Balobin. "In general, we try to regularly send from Klimavichy some letters of support to Belarusian political prisoners and maintain a regular correspondence with some of them. By our letters we try to support the political prisoners, tell them some news of the public life. I think that it is necessary to regularly support political prisoners by such letters and postcards."

In Biaroza, citizens sent to the political prisoners postcards with words of support and gratitude. They also regret that these people are still kept in prisons without any guilt, losing their health there. They are waiting for the release of the imprisoned civic and political activists and are sure that the future belongs to them.
