Bialynichy activist send congratulations to political prisoners (photos)

Greetings on the International Labor Day and the upcoming Orthodox Easter and the Victory Day have been sent to the Belarusian political prisoners by civil activists of Bialynichy area.

The action was supported by the local activists of the Belarusian Popular Front Party and the civic campaign "Tell The Truth". In their postcards and letters they congratulated the prisoners on the upcoming May holidays, wished them courage and endurance in the hard conditions of imprisonment and expressed the hope for their quick release.

"A number of holidays are ahead – the International Labor Day, the Orthodox Easter and the Victory Day when people celebrate, have fun and rest," says Bialynichy journalist Barys Vyrvich. "It's very important that on these holidays the Belarusian political prisoners don't feel alone. We sent them letters and postcards in order to express our solidarity with them and wrote that we would always remember about them. This is even more important now when little hope is left for a liberalization in the civic life on our country."
