Slonim police questioned today UCP activists, brothers Siarhei and Andrei Bialkos. They were summoned to the district police department over their involvement in the celebration of Freedom Day, 25 March. They were interrogated by a police major Vadzim Shchurski. However, the UCP members refused to provide any explanations and were soon released.

Another participant in the Freedom Day celebrations, Mikalai Barysik was questioned today by a police major Ihar Klybik. Mikalai Barysik rejected all explanations, noting that the celebration of Freedom Day was a private matter.

The BPF Party activist Viktar Marchyk recievd a phone call today and was invited for a conversation to the police department. The activist has not visited the police yet.

The members of the Slonim community of pro-democratic forces came to the conclusion that all those who took part in the Freedom Day rally and were photographed in this picture (see photo) later posted on the Internet, are being called for “precaution talks” to the police.
