On 2 February the Svislach activists honored the memory of participants of the insurgency of 1863-1864, laid down flowers to the monuments of its leaders Kastus Kalinouski and Ramuald Trauhut and the grave of Viktar Kalinouski (Kastus Kalinouski's elder brother, an ideologist of the rebellion).

On this grave there is also a stone with a table containing an inscription in honor of all insurgents.

Svislach is the only Belarusian city where several monuments to participants of the insurgency of 1863 are situated, as well as the famous gymnasium, finished by many prominent public figures including some insurgents. The nationwide feast in honor of the Kalinouski brothers is traditionally held in Svislach and Yakushouka (where their patrimony used to be situated) on the eve of the Ancestors' Day. The last celebration in 2012 was saddened by a number of administrative arrests and fines to its participants.
