About ten policemen in mufti have held another "check-up" in the Minsk club "6A" this month. The passport data of all present people were put down. About 40 of them were detained for identification and guarded to the police department.

The police officers stated that the detention was connected to the activities of the leader of "GayBelarus" Siarhei Androsenka who was "doing the things he should not do". Two weeks ago the police took away Androsenka's passport while he was crossing the Polish-Belarusian borders and still haven't returned it to him.

One of the detainees, who asked a policeman to introduce himself, was forcefully pulled to a bus and then handcuffed to a seat. Witnesses report rude actions towards the detainees of the both sexes at the police department. All of them were prohibited to use telephones and told they would be kept at the police department till evening.

Bear in mind that this month raids on LGBT parties have been held in Minsk and Vitsebsk. In the Vitsebsk region the police started summoning for talks even ordinary visitors of the parties, who were also shot on video.

Since the beginning of January, at least 60 founders of the national youth human rights association "Human Rights Center "Lambda" (the name under which "GayBelarus" has been trying to legalize itself for the second time already) have been summonsed for such talks in at least 8 cities of Belarus.

The pressure on the LGBT-community started about a week after the registration documents had been passed to the Ministry of Justice.
